Well the trip is officially over (unless this plane goes down and I wind up swimming for life to the Icelandic shore...). I'm on my Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Detroit, somewhere above the Atlantic right now. How crazy is it that you can get internet access on a plane now? And I got 30 minutes free so I thought I'd write a little. It's a rather slow connexion so you'll all just have to wait until I'm back home for pictures, but Switzerland, specifically the Jungfrau region is now second in my heart only to France.
The backpacking is over. My back and shoulders and patience are all very thankful for that, but there's still a part of me saying "There's more to see... go back!!". I'm sure I'll give into that little voice before too long. Not really sure what the rest of the year is gonna throw at me... I don't even have housing for the coming quarter at school yet!
I had a really nice last day with my framily. My from and I talked a lot and I showed them pics of my travels and the three of us had a really nice long dinner. I even got my favorite recipes from my from so look out everyone, I'll be French cookin'!
Lookin' forward to seeing the family tonight and headin' out to ONU to see how everyone and everything is out there. Can you believe it's already Martin Luther King Day?!?!? Where does time go? Oh wait, to Europe. I guess that's ok with me. :) Well I'm off to enjoy an in-flight movie. See y'all state-side!

i can't believe you're coming back... i can't wait to talk with you (which will prolly be before you read this)... and i can't wait even more for you to come visit me!!
