SNOW DAY!

Tuesday 11:30pm - No snow on the ground. No snow falling.

Wednesday 8:00am - See below.

By 8am we had about 10 inches and it just kept falling.
When it finally slowed down a little our landlord got the snow blower out. Here's what the driveway looked like.
And our front path.
There's Clement, hard at work!
The entire neighborhood seemed to be out shoveling sidewalks and cars. Made us glad, for once, that we're renters and that we don't own a car.
The view out the back window. In front of the brick apartment building is the main road through Brighton. We still can't see pavement and it's almost 6pm.
The trees around our house seem to be holding, but it's a really really thick, wet, heavy snow. Cars and houses all over the Boston area were damaged by falling branches and trees.
Our landlord worked hard, but eventually gave in to the snow. He got a good path from the garage to the street, but that took forever. It was really just a better day to stay home and do nothing.
Jared and I enjoyed the snow day by sleeping in (until 8:15!), having some cinnamon rolls, watching some of our many recorded tv shows, reading and making a delicious dinner.

Now just two days and then a three day weekend!! Oh and I start grad school a week from today! :)
