So the woman in charge of the elementary language assistants emailed me! She'll be picking me up from the train station and then we'll go together to see my school and meet those people. And the new director of my school emailed me as well. So he knows I exist (which in the French system of things is a VERY good sign)! And I talked to a girl who was an assistant in Luce/Chartres last year and she gave me some very encouraging advice and inside info.
Tomorrow is to Dayton for Jared to take the GRE and Dana to buy some good tennis shoes chill out! 11 days to take off and things are in great shape! I'm off to Findlay right now to meet with a past language assistant to learn even more.
Now if I can just shake this cold and get my car sold (no rhyme intended) the world will be gold! (Ok, that last one was intended.)
