Started the day at the National Basilica to the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Fabulously beautiful. Almost too much though. Reminded me a bit of Versailles with all the gold.
Then I went to the Franciscan Monastery up the road. I went for the gardens, which were even better than I had expected. Here's some pictures from that.
The rest of the monastery was strange and scary. They call it "America's Holy Land" because it's an exact replica of a church there or something... yeah, weird. Anywho, there was a cool organ concert that I sat in on for a bit.
