So if you are French or are currently living in France please do not read the following as you will most likely find it horribly offensive.
If you are American and living in the current recession you will appreciate this greatly and might even be envious.
This week we went grocery shopping. Due to my lack of things to do at work I spend a lot of time looking for coupons online. Jared's family is also kind enough to send us all the coupons out of Sunday papers which we clip and save as though our lives depend on it. We also stock up when things we have coupons for are on sale.
Therefore we were able to do the following:
Purchase $102.00 worth of groceries and only pay $58.00.
That's right folks; we saved 43% on groceries. (And yes, I just used a semicolon. I'm currently reading Eats, Shoots and Leaves so I'm big on proper punctuation right now.)
Then today I went shopping with my friend to update my work wardrobe. When you spend the first 21 years of your life living in jeans and t-shirts and then you find yourself working in a place that prohibits jeans and t-shirts, you find yourself at a loss. This fall I realized that unless I went to work in the same suit every day I would need new clothes. So I updated. This spring I am realizing the same thing.
Using my amazing sale-sniffing skills, I'm like a bloodhound for sales, I was able to:
Purchase $415.00 worth of fabulous spring/summer clothes and only pay $144.00.
That's right again; I saved 65% on clothing!!!
And my friend did even better. She found a dress that she tried on several months ago and loved but it was full price ($150 I think) and today she got it for $20! Boo YAH!
So Happy Easter to all, the bunny brought me some goooood stuff! :)

What part is offensive? Other than my jealousy over the ridiculous sales :-p Just waiting patiently till July, sigh.
And congrats on the three years!!
