It's Officially Fall

Fridays mean no classes which in turn means sleeping in really really late. I got up at noon this morning... afternoon? and did homework for a while before heading out on my bike. And yes, I'm calling it my bike. Technically it's CEA's bike but since my parents paid for me to be a part of CEA it's MY bike. Anywho... so I head out and it seems that overnight autumn has officially hit Grenoble. For the past week it's been overcast and grey all the time, really rather depressing, and it drizzled really often. But today the sun is shining and the clouds are all gone. Without the clouds the tops of the tallest mountains are revealed and they are covered in snow. It's amazing to ride to school with views of snow-covered mountain peaks in the distance. And the leaves are falling... they never really turned colors and graced the landscape with a cornucopia of autumnal rainbow, but now they're on the ground and the crunching sounds and smell of fallen leaves fills the air. It's really pretty incredible and I can't wait for the weekend to officially start tomorrow. My weekend plans, for the first time, have held up so look out for stories and pictures on Sunday!! Have a great weekend everyone!
