I finally did it! I finally got an appointment that wasn't cancelled and the weather was fabulous so I got to run off a cliff! It was a amazing. I definitely had my eyes closed for the actual off the cliff part of it but after that I was in awe. It's the best money I've ever spent and it was probably the coolest thing I've ever done. The views were amazing, especially because there was a view of Mont Blanc while we were in the air and the fall leaves and everything. I got an extra long flight, actually twice the length of what I paid for, because the winds were really good so we were able to stay up really long. The landing wasn't as scary as I thought it would be, mainly because it was really fast, but because we had already been up for so long he tried to get us down really fast so we did this spiral downward which was cool at first, but I got really really dizzy/motion sick after a minute or two and that was not particularly grand. One thing that both Tiffany (who went with me to laugh and take pictures) and I thought was unusual was the lack of paperwork. I walked in and wrote down my first name and address and then walked out. No signing my life away or promising that if I was injured it wasn't their fault, no proof of insurance or anything. And then when we walked down to the jump off area he just handed me a harness and assumed I could get myself into it. Then he said "When I say three, run forward." and we were off. Very unlike the US, but very very nice. Enjoy the pictures!
