And three-quarters of the English assistants in France are officially done. Anyone at the high school, middle school, or assistant primary level had their last day of classes today. I have 21 more. And 63 more days until I come home. My jealous levels are at an all-time high. *sigh*
I'm trying to be positive though. At least the next two months should (fingers crossed) have nicer weather. And I have some great trips planned for that nice weather. And I finally feel pretty comfortable in my French so now I can really work on perfecting it. And it's another two months that I don't have to deal with the headache that appears to be "real life". Cue ominous music here. France hasn't been a walk in the park but it looks like being an adult in the real world working a 40 hour week and paying for a nice apartment and health insurance and a 401-k and student loans and all that other stuff we affiliate with living comfortably. So here's to another 63 days of avoidance! Cheers.
And now I'm off to pack since I leave for a weekend in Hallstatt, Austria!

I'm counting down the days till I'm finished teaching kids! It's been interesting..it's taught me a lot about how France works actually and gave me a huge respect (and perhaps pity) for teachers in general. I want to write all of my teachers letters of apology!
ha, I came back and I'm still avoiding real life.
Yay unnecessary grad school!
looking forward to hearing about austria! how fun!
